Previously, Phoebe was a host at WUNC North Carolina Public Radio, a producer for The Story with Dick Gordon, and a reporter based in the gulf coast of Mississippi. She covered the BP oil spill and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina for Mississippi Public Broadcasting and National Public Radio. Phoebe’s work has won multiple Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards. She attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
Before starting Criminal, Lauren was a producer at NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday, NPR’s Bryant Park Project, and APM’s The Story with Dick Gordon. She has a Master’s degree in fiction writing from Columbia University and has taught at Columbia University, Duke University and The New School. She’s the founder of the online literary magazine Two Serious Ladies.
Nadia was a producer for NPR’s How To Do Everything and Planet Money. Before that she helped make things at Radiolab, The New York Times Magazine, and The Atavist, among others. She was awarded the SoundCloud Fellowship in 2012 and attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
Rob mixes the show and is the Production Specialist on NPR’s Training Team. Before that, he was an audio engineer at Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media, where his work contributed to a Peabody and a Pulitzer. He’s an avid cyclist, a drummer, and a lover of jazz.
